ClinicStar was developed to combine the ability to write treatment notes and do the billing in a one-step process. Once the note is finished, the service and charges are automatically recorded. At the end of each month, these records are encrypted, emailed to us, and billed by us. This provides you with a stream-lined paperless office and lowers your overhead and dependency on training and maintaining new office staff to perform these billing services. Office Management:

ClinicStar can manage multiple doctor offices. Up to nine doctors can manage their practices on a single front desk computer. ClinicStar also provides an option at setup to allow treatment notes to be written with a portable treatment writer or at another workstation. Patient files are well organized by the payer associated to them such as Group Insurance, Personal Injury, Cash, etc. Fee Schedules, services, Payment Plans, etc., including contracted HMO/PPO providers can all be organized quickly and easily with ClinicStar. The ClinicStar Ledger and Insurance Log will help keep all of your accounts organized and up to date. Patient billing information is automatically added and payments are processed with easy to operate user input prompts. ClinicStar Statistics will track patient visits per month, calculate quarterly sales tax, and provide information about sales and services for the month. ClinicStar does not produce pie-charts or year to year comparisons but our bet is that the most important stat, your bank account, will be higher and then you can buy all the pies you want when you’re out celebrating. How about Appointments? ClinicStar also includes a full-featured appointment book program called Appointment Star. AppointmentStar offers you fully customizable appointment book pages and time slots. You can book patients individually or cluster book (schedule multiple patients for the same appointment time.) AppointmentStar reminds you of upcoming birthdays, allows you to write notes, and has a special scheduling tool called To-Do-Star included to help you plan daily unscheduled activities you want to work on.
